Monday expect a House Rules Committee hearing on the Syria/ISIS language and the CR. It still remains to be seen whether it is combined or separate legislation. The CR hopes to include a temporary reauthorization of the Export-Import Bank, an extension of moratorium on Internet taxes and fund the government until December 11. TBA
A House floor vote (s) on it could occur Wednesday.

Sept 9th - closed door briefing on Iraq and Ukraine before the House Armed Services Committee location TBD

Legislation that ML Reid has stated we will work on:

  • Short term spending bill to prevent another govt shutdown
  • Reauthorization of Export-Import Bank
  • Renewal of expired tax breaks such as internet tax freedom act (temporary extension)
  • Udall campaign finance reform

ML Reid stated the Senate might possibly reconsider:

  • Minimum wage
  • Hobby lobby legislation
  • Student debt
  • Pay equality
  • Stop gap Spending Bill
  • 2015 fiscal year govt funding
